We killed Jin'rockh the Breaker last night like it was nothing. Unless I'm truly a "Fail Druid" I cant find a way to hang with our Disc Priest and Paladin in healing output. Rather than try and force heals that do nothing because the other two absorb all the damage, I speced Soul of the Forest and used the Wild Growth glyph. I tried to keep super haste boosted Wild Growths rolling on the raid during lightening storm. I like to think that's the reason we won, but I know it probably wasn't.

Instead of going out and doing whatever on a Saturday night ten people stayed home and played World of Warcraft together. Those ten people are now 12/12 in Throne of Thunder. Lei Shen took a little practice but we got him down so that's all that counts. I enjoyed the encounter a lot and I didn't find it to be as stressful as I thought it was going to be. Now that we cleared normal it's time to start working on those heroics. That is when the real fun starts!

We killed Twin Consorts in two attempts after getting Iron Qon down. Not much to this fight really. I was sitting there thinking these chicks were gonna to be all I saw the rest of the night. I was way off. So this kill puts 11/12 and gives a whole night to work on Lei Shen. The optimist in me believes we will be 12/12 by the end of the week. Then we can start heroics!

We had gotten a peak at this guy last week so it really didn't take us long to kill him this week. I don't really have anything to say about this attempt... the healer side of the fight was boring outside of the 1st phase. We had a small issue with Tornado's so our raid leader Aeromu made of point of saying they are easy to dodge. To prove it, he did decide to show us and then they killed him. So there is that.

Mon night raid?! Since a few couldn't make Sat. night we decided to put in a little time on Mon. Dark Animus proved to be easier than most of us were anticipating. As long as you manage the Anima distribution at the start of the fight its pretty simple. We took some massive damage around the final 5% that made it look like we may wipe... but as you can see... it really didn't matter.

Thurs night, after killing Durumu, we started playing around with Primordius. I think we killed him on our fourth attempt. This is a very easy and somewhat boring encounter. Walk in a circle, get some buffs, and then he dies. Enough said.

OMG! So... I hate this boss. My old man eyes really struggle to see the ground effects on this fight! It isn't really difficult but lag spikes at the wrong time or a fail druid healer and it's a wipe. Took us much longer than we would have liked, but we got the kill. Hopefully new eye drops and adjusting my monitors brightness will make this fight a quick kill from here on out.

Wed. night proved to be a decent night for us. Ji-Kun was our second kill of the evening. This was a very easy fight from my perspective. Brawson, Zie, and myself got the job of flying around and killing the hatch-lings and what not. Everyone else had to worry about dodging poison and dealing with down draft. The most surprising moment came after the kill when the mount dropped. Big reward for a 1st kill.

Wed. raid night was short and to the point so we started pushing progression on Thurs. First up on the list was Magaera. Once we started working the tip a little more it was over pretty quick. I failed at the tail end of the fight for no real reason. In my mind I was walking a thin line between the ice and the breath. Looking back at the video I had plenty of room. So yeah, it was just fail at it's finest.

First off, Tortos is a ton of fun. It took some practice and the final moments of the fight get a little hairy. Once it's dead you'll wonder why it took so long to do it. We had time to get a couple attempts on Megaera afterwards. The seemingly endless trash on the way to the boss ate up most of raid time we had left. Looking forward to getting back in there on Sat.
